Account Manager Bavaria - Semiconductor (m/f)

Pardus Consulting is working for a semiconductor company which designs and manufactures analog technologies, digital signal processing (DSP) and microcontroller (MCU) semiconductors. Our Client is a leader in semiconductor solutions for analog and digital embedded and applications processing.

In this position you will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and are responsible for establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships to grow existing business and identify new business opportunities in the assigned account base in Bavaria. Your role will cover the following responsibilities:

  • Growing revenue either directly and/or via distribution for customers in Bavaria
  • Identifying new opportunities, understanding the customer's situation and objectives and gaining commitment to use best solutions
  • Working with all support organizations to move identified projects through to revenue
  • Manage ongoing business to ensure customer loyalty and willingness to expand partnerships
  • Motivating close collaboration with the distribution network to ensure and continuously monitor the right coverage of respective customers
  • Being a pivotal member of the regional sales team managing flex teams to support DIN including Customer Service, Field Applications, Business Development, Marketing and Distribution for great results
  • Defining and executing market-, customer- and product strategies for maximum success
  • Feeding back important market insights to internal departments
  • Residing close to customers and available for frequent and short term customer visits

Job Requirements:

Technical:

  • University Degree in Electrical/Industrial/Business Engineering or similar
  • Good overall technical understanding of applications on a system- and block diagram level
  • Knowledge of Analog and Embedded Processing technologies

Sales:

  • Solid knowledge of the semiconductor industry and understanding of electronic systems and customer requirements
  • Demonstrated customer successes and frequent customer exchange
  • Understanding of local market dynamics and mentalities

Personal:

  • Desire to be the interface between customers and technical experts
  • Passion to explore the business side of the technology industry
  • Ability to analyze complex electronic needs of customers and transform those into recommendations and action plans
  • Commitment to build and maintain strong relationships and gain respect at all levels of the customer and distributor
  • Strong networking skills and relationship building abilities
  • Driving license, passport and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territories
  • Fluent in German & English
